How would you like the Mexican government to know what guns you own? Well that’s exactly what would happen if Mexico had its way.
Mexican lawmakers are formally asking the U.S. Senate to create a registry of all commercialized firearms in border states, which includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas – and SHARE IT with them. Mexico says it will make it easier to trace guns used in violent attacks.
I’ve got a better idea. How about they open their border to any American who wants to visit while carrying a firearm for self defense, and publish a list of all of their corrupt government officials who are making their living from the drug cartels?
Better yet, how about they just declare all of Mexico a “GUN-FREE ZONE” and start arresting violators and locking them up in a Mexican prison until they rot? Oh, wait, they can’t do that, because their police and military are owned by the cartels.
Clean up your own house. Then, maybe, we’ll talk.
